What was said about the 2007 Convention?

WHO's News Page 23 June 2007

I had the pleasure of attending part of the CAPE support group's 2007 Family Convention on Saturday, May 12, and what a pleasure it was. Not only did I meet a few new faces, but I also sat in on a couple of workshops (one with Beth Buckman of YOU'LL UNDERSTAND, and another featuring Diana Waring). In addition to the adult/parent workshops there was also plenty going on for the kids, separated out by age groups - crafts, archery, critical thinking, to name a few. Before leaving for home I took the chance to wander through the exhibitor room and pick up a few things myself. What a great event. What a great group of people.
You won't want to miss out next time.
For more info on what's going on with this very active group, look up their website, listed under Region 3 support groups of the WHO website.
