Presenter: Janice Hedin, longtime homeschool parent and advocate,
has two children, ages 31 and 28 whose first day of “school” was college.
She encourages homeschoolers through workshops at conferences and support groups and received the Lifetime Achievement Award in 1997 from
the Washington Homeschool Organization. She is co-presenter of the parent-
qualifying course, OPTions for Parent Teachers.

Annual Homeschool BBQ

Enjoy a wonderful barbeque event at Wixon Park on South 3rd St. in Selah. The CAPE Board is providing hamburgers, hot dogs, and drinks. You bring a side, salad or dessert.  Last names beginning with an A-G bring a side dish, H-M bring a salad, and N-Z bring a dessert.  Mad Science will be there as well as a bounce house for the little ones!  This event is open to members and guests who are homeschooling or considering homeschooling.
