<p>Presenter: Janice Hedin, longtime homeschool parent and advocate,<br />
has two children, ages 31 and 28 whose first day of “school” was college.<br />
She encourages homeschoolers through workshops at conferences and support groups and received the Lifetime Achievement Award in 1997 from<br />
the Washington Homeschool Organization. She is co-presenter of the parent-<br />
qualifying course, OPTions for Parent Teachers.</p>
