Friday Forum is a homeschool co-op that meets the third Friday of each month from 9:00am to noon. Fees are $5.00 per child for the whole year (reduced if it presents a hardship.) Parents are involved in teaching, assisting, or planning classes. We require a year long commitment, so that must be considered when signing up. Our goal is to provide educational and social opportunities, within a Christian framework, for homeschooling families. The classes we offer are dependent upon the interest and abilities of the parents involved. We have been able to offer classes in ballet, karate, cooking, jewelry making, and creative writing to name a few. Elementary children each participate in Science, Book Reports and electives. Preschoolers and Jr/Sr. High have a slightly different program. See the Friday Forum page of your newsletter for more information.

December 2007
Pammy Kibbe 910-9020
Get ready to explore far away places from the comfort of your own backyard! The Christmas party is a great way to learn about another country briefly or in-depth.
For all ages, hands on is best. Have your child see, hear, touch, smell, and taste their country. Have them show where there country is in comparison to other countries on the map. Investigate the clothing and food, maybe bring some music to share. How is Christmas celebrated around the world? Or is it? Is this country so unreached by the Bible that they don’t know about Christmas at all? International Christmas is a great way to learn about our world and have a lot of fun. Families set up displays showing what they have learned about their chosen country. You do not have to do everything. Watch for details in the newsletter.
